The 1988 BMW 750iL was the first production year in the US of
a V12 BMW. This was the ultimate performance
luxury car, with the zip and handling of a sports car and luxury of full
leather trim and a 14-speaker hifi sound system. The sales brochure drips with superlatives

Gareth Williams is the proud owner of a 1988 BMW 750iL
classic, which has over 175,000 miles on it and still roars. (link to

his friends� econoboxes or SUV�s.
The original E32 series ran from 1988 to 1994. It was superceded in 1995 by the E38 series,
with modernized styling, upgraded engine, and even finer appointments. The sales brochure was equally sumptuous
